Projects

The Folsom Boulevard Enhancements Project was completed over five phases totally more than $42 million. The various project phases provided a pedestrian and bicycle friendly corridor, improve safety at light rail crossings, calm traffic, and improve connectivity and beautification to streetscapes to enhance the City’s identity and development opportunities.  The project from Bradshaw Road to Sunrise Boulevard included beautification elements, active transportation, and state of good repair improvements. Major improvements included the following:

• Sidewalk, curb & gutter and bike facilities,
• Concrete medians and associated landscaping,
• Street level and pedestrian streetlights,
• Upgraded traffic signals, bike and pedestrian facilities,
• Improved bus stop facilities,
• Upgraded storm drain facilities,
• Rehabilitation and reconstruction of the roadway.
